White Lotus Resort Spotlight

For Valentine’s Day, we thought we’d share a resort chain that we LOVE, and that is the ultra-luxurious White Lotus. This five-star resort chain is known for their above and beyond service, enticing pools, boat landing resort arrival, exotic locations, and signature complimentary breakfast buffet. As the late Tanya McQuoid, who was a frequenter of the resort chain said, “Whenever I stay at a White Lotus, I always have a memorable time.” Today, we’re going to count down our top three White Lotus resorts that have wowed us the most:

3.        Sicily, Italy

Known for its iconic southern Italian charm and very, very friendly locals, guests are fully immersed into the Sicilian culture. This White Lotus can make all your Italian dreams come true. Days at this resort can be filled with beach going, moped riding to recreate Monica Vitti’s iconic scene from the classic Italian film L’Avventura, and paying homage to the Sicilian roots for those who have recently done a 23 and Me test. The resort amenities include historical statues in every room, an infinity pool overlooking the Ionian Sea, Michelin-starred Italian cuisine and local wine tastings, and nightly live music featuring beloved local, Mia. One thing to note, while staying on the resort is overall considered safe, yacht rides are not affiliated with the resort and White Lotus will not be held responsible for activities sponsored outside of their property.

2.        Phuket, Thailand

This stunning resort is the newest in the White Lotus hotel lineup. While not as much is known about this brand-new location, we know it excels in all thing wellness, even relocating its star Maui Masseuse Belinda to help manage the spa. The resort truly is like a retreat for all things wellness featuring signature massages, yoga and meditations, and mouth-watering Thai food that can be customized towards your dietary goals for peak health. White Lotus Thailand promises that by “the end of the week, you will be an entirely different person.”

1.        Maui, Hawaii

Coming in number one on our list is the tropical paradise of Maui. This location, which was voted “The Most Romantic Hotel in Hawaii,” is perfect for honeymooners as well as families and those mourning alike. The resort amenities include infinity pools with private cabanas, scuba diving lessons, sunset cruises (perfect for couples and mourners), lobster bake dinners with traditional Hawaiian luaus, and sprawling suites featuring the signature Pineapple Suite, which is complete with its own plunge pool. Additionally, the staff in Maui truly go above and beyond what is expected of them like eating dinner with lonely guests and being able to be on a first name basis with all hotel management. With all its beauty and fine staffing, it’s easy to see why Maui is the most loved and romantic location of them all.

Note:

While unfortunately the White Lotus is not a real hotel chain and this blog is extremely satirical in nature, all three seasons of The White Lotus show has been shot at several Four Seasons resorts. While we (Fab) have been blessed to go to Italy and Thailand, we have not stayed at these stunning resorts (yet #manifesting). We have however hosted an incentive group at the Four Seasons Maui (first season filming location), and incentive winners loved the resort and all of Maui’s culture and beauty.

If you couldn’t tell by now, we are SO excited for the upcoming season of The White Lotus coming out this weekend on Max. This season, let’s make all of our White Lotus travel dreams come true together, well maybe without the pure chaos (Fab can handle the chaos for you ;) ).
